Another good day in Weddingland (never mind the rest of the week was a nightmare). The 9am appointment was moved to 10:45am - I get to sleep, yahoo! - and the dress that was ordered to try on is arriving this Tuesday. This provided me with a bit of a giggle since the dress that was sent is the POLYESTER version, not the silk version. Can you imagine me walking down the aisle in the middle of an Indiana summer in POLYESTER? Not only would I melt, but I'd need to avoid all open flames.

Off to pick up Andrea soon from Bolton train station. Check back on Sunday for a "comedy" update on our day out!

Right. I'm a celebrity is over and I have 1 hour before it starts again. I always said I wouldn't get sucked into reality TV shows... Oops. Totally addicted. I actually woke up on Tuesday morning upset that I missed the Monday night episode. Arrrrgh, what is happening to me? I need to be thinking about weddings! (or maybe that's the problem, too much wedding thinking?)

I've actually had a really good wedding week. Andrea - the future sister-in-law is travelling down to Manchester to go to the "National Wedding Show" with me on Saturday. What she doesn't know is I have an appointment to try wedding dresses on at 9 am. It was the only time I could get at such short notice. She's gonna kill me. Nothing that a few glasses of wine at lunch won't fix! So when I walk down the aisle wearing a cowboy hat or something equally ridiculous - you'll know what happened...

Besides that the Save the Dates went out this weekend and the invites for the English guests arrived today at work. So all in all, things are moving along just swimmingly. No way is everything going to go so smoothly. Its going to be the suits. I know it. Have I mentioned that? We need five suits to match! Three in the States and two here. It's going to be a Armani-doesn't-make-a-navy-suit situation (Father of the Bride, remember?).

But not going to worry about that now. I'm shiny and happy - basking in the glow of the stack of "parchment" invites sitting across the room from me.

And on that note....
